H2 Mobility Initiative receives IPHE Award

The H2 Mobility program, that Air Liquide partners, has been awarded on May 17, 2010 during the World Hydrogen Energy Congress (WHEC) in Germany the IPHE award which distinguishes exceptional initiatives in advancing hydrogen technology.

The H2 Mobility initiative has been awarded on May 17, 2010 the Excellence in Leadership award from the International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy (IPHE) during the World Hydrogen Energy Conference (WHEC) in Essen - Germany. The IPHE award distinguishes institutions and initiatives that demonstrate exceptional vision in advancing hydrogen and fuel cell technology.

The goal of H2 Mobility is to establish decisive framework conditions for the development of a nationwide hydrogen infrastructure in Germany. As a first step, additional hydrogen fuelling stations will be built by 2011 in order to support a growing number of fuel cell vehicles. Air Liquide has partnered the H2 Mobility program since January 2010. The group proactively brings his skills and expertise with that of the program partners. The other partners are Air Products, Daimler, EnBW, Linde, OMV, Shell, TOTAL, Vattenfall and the Nationale Organisation Wasserstoff- und Brennstoffzellentechnologie (NOW).
